Yes. The top is made from a soft but tough Oxford fabric that shrugs off spills. The bottom is water-repellent PVC, so damp sand or wet grass won’t soak through. Your picnic snacks stay dry, and so do your bottoms.

Each mat comes with four sturdy metal pegs to pin it down. Even on windy days, it’ll stay put while you relax.

No. They are not machine washable. A gentle hand wash or spot clean is best to keep the fabric and colours looking their best.

Simply shake off any sand or grass, then spot clean with a damp cloth or hose off and allow it to air dry in the shade before folding up. For a deeper clean, lightly hand wash and always allow it to air dry naturally.

No. Our mats are not entirely sand free. A quick shake will remove most sand - particularly from the top side, but they do not have sand-repelling fibres. The back side often requires a quick brush or hose to get all the sand off.

Each beach mat measures 145cm x 200cm laid out and folds down neatly into its own built-in carry bag with handles and straps, measuring roughly 41cm x 23cm x 8cm. The full pack weighs about 1.5kg including the four metal pegs.
