Will and Wind x Australian Marine Conservation Society
When we create a new towel at Will and Wind it never begins with fabric. It begins with a place. A moment. A feeling. Sometimes even a memory of a tide, a breeze or a creature that stops us mid swim because nature suddenly feels personal.
This new design began that way. With a mother. A calf. And a quiet moment below the surface of Ningaloo.
The moment that inspired it all
Award-winning underwater photographer Brooke Pyke was diving at Ningaloo when a Bottlenose Dolphin approached her with her calf. It was not choreographed and it was not expected. Brooke describes it as one of those rare ocean moments where everything feels calm and exactly right. A small exchange of trust between human and wild.
The dolphins drifted close enough for her to capture a photograph that radiates gentleness and connection. When we saw it we felt everything at once. This was the beginning of something special for Will and Wind.
Why this partnership matters
Our coastline shapes every design we create. The colour of the reef. The lines in the sand. The wildlife that glides past when we least expect it. We owe our whole brand to the ocean, which means protecting it is not optional. It is part of who we are.
The Australian Marine Conservation Society has protected Australia’s oceans for sixty years. They defend dolphins, turtles, whales and dugongs. They safeguard coral reefs and seagrass meadows. They campaign for cleaner seas and stronger marine park protections. Their work is science-based and people-powered and it aligns with everything we believe in.
So this time, we did not just want to release a beautiful design. We wanted to do more.
10% for the ocean
With every Bottlenose Dolphin Travel Towel and Bottlenose Dolphin Multi Towel sold 10% of proceeds go directly to AMCS. Your towel helps support
• marine wildlife protection
• habitat restoration
• pollution reduction
• reef conservation
• long-term advocacy for healthy oceans
This is more than a design partnership. It is a shared commitment to protect the places and species we all love.
Sustainability stitched into every thread
The sustainability story continues beyond the photograph. Our towels are made using recycled plastic bottles, which means less plastic ends up in landfill or the ocean.
• Each Travel Towel contains 16 recycled bottles
• Each Multi Towel contains 11 recycled bottles
Our microfibre is designed to last for years. It dries quickly. It resists sand. It rolls down small. It needs less water in the wash. It needs less energy in the dry. Longevity is one of the most effective forms of sustainability because products that last do not end up in landfill.
We create towels that you reach for again and again. Towels that travel with you. Towels that replace dozens of cheap cotton versions over a lifetime.
A design filled with meaning
The Bottlenose Dolphin Mother and Calf design is not just beautiful. It carries purpose. It reminds us that our coastlines are precious. It reminds us how lucky we are to share these waters with wildlife that deserves protection. It reminds us to choose products that support the places we explore.
This towel is for the swimmer. The ocean lover. The beach walker. The paddle boarder. The person who feels calmer near water. It is for anyone who wants their everyday choices to matter.
Join us in protecting what inspires us
This collection marks the beginning of an ongoing commitment from Will and Wind to support ocean conservation. The environment gives us our inspiration. Supporting AMCS is our way of giving something meaningful back.
We hope this towel becomes part of your daily rituals and travel adventures. We hope it sparks conversations about conservation. We hope it reminds you that a simple product can be part of something much bigger.
